LD Celulose has received the seal "Silver Sponsor Company 2022", in recognition for its work within "Na Mão Certa" ("In the Right Hand") program. The campaign is run by Childhood Brazil, which for 15 years has promoted awareness and mobilization about the protection of children and adolescents against violence and sexual exploitation. "The partnership goes further. Through our multipliers, who are trained to talk about the fight against sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, we do our part in this fight," says LD's social worker, Elaine Barbosa. The campaign "Na Mão Certa for 15 years" brought three key messages to guide the activities:
1. UNDERSTAND: Sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a perverse reality.
2. MOBILIZE: Your attitude is fundamental to transform this scenario.
3. REPORT: When faced with a situation or suspicion, call the reporting channels.
