Employees sign LD's first pulp sheet in the presentation of the first bale

On Tuesday, April 19, a great milestone happened for LD Celulose: the presentation of the first pulp bale produced by the company. The event brought together the directors, managers, coordinators and administrative sector. Besides the presentation of the first bale, baptized as "Fardin", the signing ceremony of the first pulp sheet produced by LD also took place. "It is a satisfaction for me to be here at this moment presenting to the company our 'Fardin'. Our first bale has a very special name that represents the regionality of the place that welcomed the company. I thank the commitment of all the areas involved, in addition to our colleagues from Lenzing and Dexco. From now on we will have a lot of work, but I know I can count on everyone's commitment. I am very happy", said the CEO of LD Celulose, Luís Künzel, during the event. The day was one of great emotion for those involved in the construction and start-up of the plant. "I am very emotional. When I arrived today and saw the result of our first sheet, I was very happy. It is the result of all the dedication and work," says the laboratory coordinator, Sandra Ramirez. At the end of the signatures, there was a collective toast and a pause for photos as a souvenir of this great milestone.
