LD Celulose offers free civil construction courses

Próxima notícia LD Celulose launches a new employment platform for the construction stage

Registration is open for courses offered by LD Celulose, in civil construction, in partnership with SENAI Araguari. Openings are exclusive to the municipality of Araguari and aimed at both men and women. The objective of the offer is to earn a manual labor qualification, so that professionals in the region have a chance to compete for job openings during the construction of the LD Celulose headquarters.

Courses offered are: Assistant Ironworker, Assistant Civil Construction Mason, Assistant Mason, Assistant Carpenter and Scaffolding Assembler. Those who complete all learning stages will be certified in the field.

Registrations will be made from the 18th to the 27th of November, and the candidates must have completed at least foundational education to apply. Classes will take place at SENAI Araguari, from 6pm to 10pm, starting on November 30 and lasting 20 to 30 days. All necessary measures to prevent coronavirus will be taken.

Copy of CPF (Individual Taxpayer ID) and RG (ID Card) (driver’s license won’t be accepted).

About LD Celulose

LD Celulose S.A. is a joint venture between the Austrian company Lenzing and the Brazilian company Duratex, formed to set up one of the largest soluble cellulose plants in the world. With an investment of R$ 5.2 billion, the plant is being built in the Triângulo Mineiro region, between the cities of Indianópolis and Araguari. Once it starts operating in 2022, it will produce 500 thousand tons of soluble cellulose per year. The special cellulose fibers produced by LD will be used in the textile industry, generating fabrics with innovation, sustainability and high technology.
