Transforming good ideas into projects capable of attracting funding and generating positive impact in communities is the goal of the new free training program for the community, for which LD Celulose will open registrations next Monday (August 6). The training, focused on Incentive Laws, Parliamentary Amendments, project development and structuring, and fundraising strategies for social impact initiatives, will take place in Indianópolis and Estrela do Sul. To participate, interested individuals must complete the registration form available here and on all LD Celulose social media channels by August 7. Places are limited.
The course aims to train NGO and civil society organization (CSO) managers, advisors, and public-sector professionals to finance and structure social projects, teaching them in practice how to develop proposals and access government funding through incentive laws, parliamentary amendments, and public grant opportunities.
The training will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, participants will attend in-person sessions led by a specialized team hired by LD Celulose, with more than ten years of experience in developing incentive-based projects, fundraising, and social impact initiatives. After completing this phase, participants who successfully finish the training and demonstrate the highest levels of engagement and performance will be selected for the second phase of the program, which consists of specialized mentoring. During this stage, they will receive technical support to strengthen their proposals and increase their potential to secure funding.
In Indianópolis, the sessions will take place on August 18 and 25, and September 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Gustavo Amaro Borges Selective Collection Center, located at 75 Arlindo Emídio Pereira Street.
In Estrela do Sul, the training will be held on August 20 and 27, and September 3, also from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Maria Moreira de Vasconcelos State School, located at 77 Dr. Argelino de Morais Square, downtown.
Formar para Incentivar Program
This training program, currently open for registration, is part of the Formar para Incentivar (Training to Encourage) Program, created by LD Celulose. The initiative offers free training opportunities for public and private-sector managers, civil society organizations (CSOs), community associations, social impact entrepreneurs, and individuals and organizations interested in developing projects with the potential to create social transformation.
Created within LD Celulose’s Regional Development pillar, the program aims to build participants’ skills so they can learn how to structure projects and increase their ability to access funding through incentive laws, grant programs, parliamentary amendments, and other financing opportunities focused on local development.
For LD Celulose Social Investment Analyst Paloma Campos, the initiative reinforces the company’s strategy of investing not only in social projects, but also in strengthening civil society, helping leaders and organizations develop greater autonomy in designing sustainable initiatives and mobilizing resources for their municipalities.

The program complements LD Celulose’s social investment initiatives, which also allocate resources to projects supported through its own calls for proposals. Every year, the company launches a selection process for projects, which are evaluated according to criteria established in the call for applications. Through this training program, the expectation is to increase the number of organizations prepared to access these and other funding opportunities, thereby strengthening regional development.
