Last Thursday, July 22, LD Celulose received another entourage of the region authorities to a visit at the construction site. This time the financial director, João Sevilha, and the general manager of the project, Claudinei Santos received the mayor of Indianópolis, Lindomar Amaro Borges; the deputy mayor Douglas Alexandre Bento; and the city council president, Rafael de Almeida Jacó, accompanied by secretaries and other councillors. Following the covid-19 prevention protocol, the authorities were conducted to the ambulatory to be tested after arriving at the future factory facilities. Later the group headed to the company’s auditorium where information about the project was presented. On the occasion, the finance director presented the project, addressing figures related to the generation of employment, professionalizing courses offerred and investments in the region so far. The general manager of the project, Claudinei Santos, presented details of the future factory construction, sustainable production process and practices aimed at preserving the environment. In sequence, the authorities participated in a guided tour of the construction site to understand, in practice, the size of the project
