Araguari representatives visit LD Celulose

On the afternoon of Thursday, July 15, LD Celulose received a visit from the mayor of Araguari, Renato Carvalho, the deputy mayor Maria Cecília Ribeiro, and the municipality's attorney, Leonardo Furtado Borelli. Accompanied by secretaries and other councilors, the representatives were received by the financial director of LD Celulose, João Sevilla, and by the general manager of the project, Claudinei Santos. On the occasion, the finance director presented the project, addressing figures related to the generation of employment and investments in the region so far. The general manager of the project, Claudinei Santos, presented details of the construction of the future factory, the sustainable production process and practices aimed at preserving the environment.  In sequence, the authorities participated in a guided tour of the construction site to understand, in practice, the size of the project, which currently employs about 6,000 people and in the operational phase will have approximately 1,100 direct employees, promoting the economic and social development of the surrounding cities.
