Aiming to encourage the practice of sports, LD Celulose is one of the official sponsors of the 2022 edition of the 10 Miles Mauá - the City Race, which will be held on July 24th in Araguari. The event, held by Apuana Esportes, will have three modalities: 10 miles (16 km), 6 miles (10 km) and 3 miles (5 km). Registration is open until July 20th on the website: www.apuanaesportes.com.br. To take part in the race, those interested must be at least 14 years old for the 3-mile course, 16 years old for the 6-mile course and 18 years old for the 10-mile course. There will also be a kids' race in the distances of 300 meters (6 to 9 years-old) and 600 m (10 to 13 years-old). "Encouraging the practice of sports and interaction with the community is the main purpose of this partnership. For us it is a satisfaction to support this action that encourages health and welfare of the communities where we operate", says the LD Celulose's head of Communication, Fernando Corrêa. The participants will be given a medal and the first three places will receive a trophy. There will also be the delivery of mini-trophies to the winners by age group.
