Representatives of LD Celulose met, on the morning of this Monday, the 24th, with the mayor of Araguari, Renato Carvalho, the secretary of Economic Development and Tourism, Karla Fernandes, as well as members of the Municipal Development Council. The purpose of the meeting was to update the municipal authorities on the progress of the work and show the stages to come. The Development Council is formed by businessmen and representatives of Araguari class entities, such as FIEMG, OAB, CDL, Rural Union, ACIA, CREA, Sicoop, ACA, among others.
The visitors were welcomed by the CFO João Sevilha and the project's general manager, Claudinei Santos, as well as company representatives in the areas of construction, sustainability, environment, administration, human resources and institutional communication. Participants received information about the current stage of the project, the number of workers hired, the number of professionals from Araguari involved in the work and already hired for the operational phase of LD Celulose, as well as data on accommodation, consumption in the city and the demobilization of manpower. On the occasion, the new profile of professionals to be hired for this phase of construction and for the future operation of the factory was also presented. At the end of the meeting, the visitors took a tour of the construction site and were able to observe the progress of the project.
